Potakit+ (arsenic-free configuration) is a portable kit for combined microbiological and physico-chemical water testing. A single incubator switchable between 37°C and 44°C with membrane filtration handles Faecal and Total Coliforms, alongside pocket meters and a colour comparator for key chemical parameters, all housed in a single lockable waterproof case.
Potalab+ is the most advanced portable water quality laboratory available, built for both microbiological and physico-chemical testing. Dual incubators with independent temperature control allow simultaneous determination of Thermotolerant/Faecal and Total Coliforms, while the physico-chemical set includes a photometer, compact turbidimeter, Palintest Arsenator and electrochemical pH and conductivity/TDS meters. Delivered in two lockable, waterproof field cases for use in the lab or fully self-contained in the field.

The Water Safety Kit (WSK) is a compact set of instruments and visual test equipment used to make a rapid on-site assessment of water quality and decide whether full microbiological verification is required. Which Wagtech kit should I choose?
Potatest Classic is the cost-effective kit for rapid on-site checks and emergency response. Potakit+ suits small rural WASH programmes that need precise results on a limited budget. Potatech+ combines microbiological, chemical and physical tests in one field kit. Potalab+ is a portable water quality lab, with Kemio arsenic testing, for long-term monitoring; its chemistry and microbiology cases are also sold separately as Potacheck and Potatest Dual.
What can a Wagtech kit test?
Depending on the kit: total and faecal coliforms by membrane filtration, free and total chlorine, and with the larger kits a wider range such as ammonia, nitrate, fluoride, conductivity and arsenic.
How much does a Wagtech water testing kit cost?
It depends on the kit and its options, from the compact Water Safety Kit to the full Potalab+ portable lab. Send us the kit name or part code and we reply with a proforma in birr, with VAT.
Do you supply consumables and spare parts for Wagtech kits?
Yes: membrane filters, absorbent pads and broth, portable incubators, membrane filtration units and vacuum pumps, plus the Palintest tablet reagents the kits use. We also help keep older Wagtech kits in service.
